CLASS TIMETABLE - Saturdays from Dec 2, 2023 - Jan 27, 2024 =============================================== 10:35-11:35 Feldenkrais mobilisation class to awaken your nervous system 11:40-13:05 Full ballet class LEVEL Intermediate/Advanced CLASS DESCRIPTION I wish to offer another type of ballet class in Hong Kong that emphasises "deeper artistic considerations" as well as "practical and organic solutions" to motivate balletic aesthetics. I want my ballet classes to be a space that is much less anxious about being "classical" (according to industry standards) and more daring to free the human spirit to find expression in a diversity of excellence. We will busy our minds and hearts on overlooked details: movement texture, movement legibility, expressive intent, alignment practicality, musical playfulness, spatial use, importance of the eyes, modelling, inner imagination and fantasy,... It's time to stop punishing and limiting ourselves focusing on what we don't have and channel our efforts to develop your intelligence and sensibility to be fabulous with what you DO have. You are an ARTIST. I'm here to help you clarify your artistic options so that you can have more weight in your presence and expression. About the teacher - Paul Pui Wo Lee =========================== My 19 years of experience in the professional dance world spans from being a dancer to rehearsal director, choreographic assistant, Feldenkrais teacher, and guest teacher at major European and Hong Kong dance companies and institutions. I graduated from the National Ballet School of Canada before training in contemporary dance at Codarts in Rotterdam. I have danced with IT Dansa (Barcelona) and GöteborgsOperans Baletten (Gothenburg) before becoming a freelancer involved in projects in Sweden, Italy, Denmark, Germany, and Hong Kong.
